My Approach

Clients can expect an approach with elements of warmth, understanding, and attunement. For clients seeking to heal from the effects of adverse life experiences, I am an EMDRA-certified practitioner of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (“EMDR”).  

I help clients who find themselves repeating patterns they are unable to break on their own by using a combination of talk therapy and  EMDR.  

By the end of our time spent, clients feel a deeper sense of connection to themselves and can navigate the world with a sense of agency and purpose despite the continuous external noise.

Do you offer sliding scale fees?

I currently do not offer sliding scale fees. However, if you are between the ages of 16 years to 29 years old residing in California and part of the AAPI (“Asian American Pacific Islander”) community in California, I have partnered with Changing Tides to provide 10 free sessions to you upon qualification. What is EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing”)? 

EMDR is a type of psychotherapy to treat various challenges, including relational issues, anxiety, panic attacks, and addictions. EMDR helps people process traumatic and/or distressing memories and create positive emotions related to healing from adverse experiences.

What is your refund policy?

Our refund policy states that if you cancel your appointment with at least 24 hours' notice, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel within 24 hours or do not attend your session, the session fee will not be refunded.

What is your cancellation policy?

We require a minimum of 24 hours' notice for cancellations. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible to avoid being charged for the session.

What happens if I no-show for my appointment?

If you do not show up for your scheduled appointment without prior notice, you will be charged the full session fee. We encourage you to inform us if you cannot attend, even if it is last minute.

Can I reschedule my appointment?

Yes, you can reschedule your appointment. Please provide at least 24 hours' notice to avoid any cancellation fees. Contact us to find a new time that works for you.

What are your hours of availability?

Our therapy sessions are available on weekdays, Monday through Friday and Sunday. Please check our online calendar for specific time slots and availability.

Do you accept insurance?

If you have a PPO, a superbill can be provided at the end of each month with a diagnostic code that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. It is the client's responsibility to call the insurance proivider to inquire about out-of-network benefits.

How do I prepare for my first session?

To prepare for your first session, think about the specific issues or goals you want to discuss. It may also be helpful to gather any relevant personal or medical information that can assist in your therapy process.

Can I bring someone with me to my session?

Yes, you can bring someone to your session if you feel comfortable doing so. However, please inform us in advance, especially if you’re scheduling a couples or family therapy session.
